The Outdoor Room
A nice sized plot that was basically a blank canvas - the clients wanted to make a garden they could use more and enjoy entertaining and relaxing in.
This area is just one step down and worked with the fact there was a gentle fall in the garden anyway, but a level change really adds interest to a space.
A tiered water feature clad in the paving, a new patio and a decked area around the conservatory allowing a flush transition to this area.
The new raised bespoke Fire-pit and sunken seating area; the difference in the cladding just breaks up the effect, adding interest to areas. The client has brought lots of lovely brightly coloured cushions for the seating.
All ready for water, the lights cast a flood onto the paving at night without dazzling into the house; there is a light in the water feature too to catch the water flow.
Planting day arrives and all the landscaping is complete; the sunken seating area has its fitted fire pit and will have lots of nice cushions too.
